| Description | This is the fifth quest in the Friar's Niece series. It is bestowed by Archbishop Dryden in Dryden's Chamber after you have completed the Crypt of Gerard Dryden quest. The adventure takes plcae in the Lower Cathedral in the Catacombs.
The ower Cathedral is shaped like a large cross. In the center of the dungeon is the main altar (#5). At the ends of the west (#2), north (#4) and east (#3) hallways are the three altars that you must purify first to unlock the main altar. Each hallway features some traps that can be disabled by a rogue. Purify the three side altars and then the main altar. When you reach the main altar after purifying the other three four guardians will spawn, includnig a Wight Priest. Slay them and purify the altar to complete the dungeon. After doing you can exit the dungeon and then re-enter to start the Patriarch's Crypt quest. |
