| Description | The Depths of Darkness is the second level of the House Deneith Sewers. You can enter this dungeon at the bottom of the Depths of Despair, or you can enter it directly by picking up the quest from Giggs Elorreathi in Hammersmith's Inn in House Deneith.
This dungeon is suitable for both a group or a solo player. The goal of it is to reach the entrance to the next level, which is to the far north. Along the way you will encounter a nice assortment of different monsters, culminating with the Gribbik Snarlfang fight at the end. There are two hobgoblin witch doctors in his room that are upstairs, up climbable ladders. If you do not notice these, they can inflict great pain on your group. We recommend pulling Gribbik outside of the room for that purpose. Kill him and then rush the ladders and kill the Witch Doctors. The entrance to level 3 is located just behind Gribbiks chamber. |
