| Description | This is one of three quests given by Lord Gerald Goodblade that, when combined with the other two quests,will grant access to the second portion of the Harbor. It leads you to the Musty-Smelling Warehouse.
Once inside you must find and recover the Gilded Scroll Case. It is behind a locked door. The key to this door is located in a large room of crates and barrels. You must smash these until you find the key. When you pick it up a Violet Progenitor Slime will spawn and move into the room. Killing him results in optional experience. If you do kill him you can also move down to his chamber and loot his chest. There is a resource node in his room also. Once you have the key you should head back to the main room and open the locked door. There is a puzzle in here that must be solevd to unlock the Gilded Scrollcase. What you need to do is to rotate the tiles on the floor to cause the light stream to reach all four of the circles. If you do this then the barrier is lifted and you can loot the scroll to finish the quest. While you are in the puzzle room be sure to use the resource nodes. |
