| Description | This quest is granted by Calyx Shattermoon at Zawabi's Refuge. It is part of the Demon Sands module. It will reward you with a Blessed Blood Offering, which is one of three items required for the Demon Queen Raid.
You are asked to head into the Sands of Menechtarun and enter the Vulkoor Spiral. There is a long drop off here that you will need to head down into. Grab the bowl off of the altar and the event will begin. A scorpion boss will spawn, and the moment it is defeated the race will begin. There are respawn points behind you, and those monsters will run up the spiral trying to catch you. On the way through you will pass a number of doors that do have chests. You can stop and get them, but this will result in monsters catching up to you and making your journey more difficult. So the options are to milk it for all its worth, or run like mad. The first bridge has a fire trap on it, so be prepared for it. It should be noted, that you have the option of closing the gates to the bridges as you cross them. This will block monsters from catching up to you, but will also block you from re-entering should you wipe. There is a boss up here who must be defeated in order to open the door. The end boss in this event is a spell casting drow, who Stoneskin, so be prepared for it. There is a rest shrine through a water tunnel under the bridges. |
