RAKSHASA

Rakshasas were introduced during the time the Gianthold module was released. They are stealthy creatures that are similar to Jariliths in the way they claw and bite. However, they are immune to banishment and dismissal spells.

RAZOR CAT

Razor Cats are magical beasts that uses claws and bite as main forms of attack. When they knock you down, they can quickly do damage. They have resistance to cold. They are particularly vunerable to bludgeon weapons.

Weapons To Use: Holy, Pure Good, Anarchic, True Chaos, Vorpal, Magical Beast Bane

RUST MONSTER

Rust Monsters are what makes Warforged cry. They destroy your weapons and armors and they deal decent damage.

Spells To Use: Finger of Death, Phantasmal Killer, Destruction

SCORPION

Scorpions are arguably the most annoying creature in DDO. The reason for such distinction is their ability to hide and show up at will. And when they do show up, they will claw and sting. They also cast poison that gives you constitution damage when you fail to save.

Night Scorpion

SHROUDED HORROR

Shrouded Horror is a type of Wraith, hence it has incorporeal attributes. Being an undead, they also are capable of draining energy from living creatures.

Alignment: Unknown
Creature Type: Undead/Wraith
Weapons To Use: Pure Good, Holy, Ghost Touch
Spells To Use: Firewall

SKELETON

Surely, you've seen skeletons in all shapes and sizes, especially in Necropolis quests. There are several types of skeletons: The regular puny skeletons, Arcane Skelons with ability to castspels, Blackbone skeletons who are immune to fire spells, and ghostly skeletons who are immune to non-good weapon attacks.

SPECTRE

Spectres, just like Wraiths, are incorporeal and have the ability to drain your energy, hence giving you negative levels.

Spells To Use: Fire spells


SPIDER

Spiders are the first creatures you face when starting adventure in Stormreach. As you advance into the game, you will encounter tougher and meaner types of spiders. But no matter how tough they get, they will always have their trademark bite attack. Theu also cast poison spells that if you fail to save, will cause you to suffer constitution damage.

STONE GIANT

Stone Giants carry with them greatclub or greatswords and they love to throw rocks at enemies.

Alignment: Neutral
Creature Type: Giant
Weapons To Use: Pure Good, True Chaos, True Law, Vorpal, Paralyzer
Spells To Use: Finger of Death, Phantasmal Killer, Destruction


STORM GIANT

Storm Giant has the ability to cast various spells and use Greatsword and Bow alternately. It has immunity to electric spells and always has freedom of movement on.

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Weapons To Use: Axiomatic, True Law
Spells To Use: Fire spells

THAARAK HOUND

Thaarak Hounds are cousins to the hellhounds. However, they are much tougher and they love to cast fear. It's the one thing that makes them better than the other hounds around. They also bite and have fire breath. They are immune to electric spells.

Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Creature Type: Evil Outsider, Extraplanar
Weapons To Use: Holy, Pure Good, Vorpal, Paralyzer
Spells To Use: Finger of Death, Phantasmal Killer, Destruction


TROGLODYTE

Troglodytes belong to the Reptilian family. Thet are known for their claw attack and they use spears and throwing axes. But the most annoying thing they cast is stench, which is similar to slow spell and it feels like you are walking in solid fog. A tougher type of Troglodyte is the Troglodyte Warlock who has the ability to cast various spells, including acid and lightning.

Weapons To Use: Holy, Pure Good, Axiomatic, Vorpal, Paralyzer
Spells To Use: Finger of Death, Phantasmal Killer, Destruction


TROLL

Trolls are known for their ability to regenerate hitpoints. So it is important to take them down fast. Range attacks do not work as much as melee damage. They wield clubs and they have their trademark 1, 2, 3 hit that deal pretty good damage, and even death. The Scrag Troll is a type of troll that has immunity to death effects, they are usually seen in the Ataraxia area over at House Kundarak.

Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Creature Type: HUmanoid
Weapons To Use: Holy, Pure Good, Axiomatic, Vorpal, Paralyzer
Spells To Use: Finger of Death, Phantasmal Killer, Destruction (for ordinary Trolls, they don't work on Scrag Trolls)

UMBRAL GARGOYLES

Umbral Gargoyles are part of the Undead family. They deal damage to strength ability by touch. They have +2 resistance to Turn and unlike the stoned gargoyles, they are incorporeal.

Alignment: Lawful Evil
Creature Type: Undead, Shadow
Weapons To Use: Holy, Pure Good, Anarchic, True Chaos
Spells To Use: Fire


UMBRAL WORG

Just like the Umbral Gargoyles, the Umbral Worgs deal Strength damage through touch. They are also incorporeal and has +2 resistance to turn undead. They also bite.

Alignment: Lawful Evil
Creature Type: Undead, Shadow
Weapons To Use: Pure Good, True Chaos, Vorpal, Paralyzer
Spells To Use: Fire


UNDEAD RAT

Undead Rats were introduced when the Necropolis got a makeover. They can be found in the Orchard of Macabre and in level 11 Tomb quest series. They bite and claw as well as give disease.

Alignment: Neutral Evil
Creature Type: Undead
Weapons To Use: Holy, Pure Good, True Chaos, Disruptor
Spells To Use: Fire

VAMPIRE

Vampires belong to the undead family. They have the ability to regenerate hit points. They are resistant to turn undead and they drain your energy. They also turn into bat form. Aside from their spells, they do slam attacks.

Alignment: Evil
Creature Type: Undead
Weapons To Use: Pure Good, Vorpal
Spells To Use: Disintegrate, Fire Spell


VIOLET SLIME

Violet Slime belong to the Ooze family. They do slam attack and deal acid damage. They split when hit by slashing weapons. They are transparent.

Weapons To Use: Muckbane, Muckdoom, Bludgeon weapon
Spells To Use: Finger of Death,Destruction

WARFORGED

Warforged belong to the Construct family. They have immunity to sleep effects, exhaustion, poison and disease.

Weapons To Use: Adamantine, Smiter, Paralyzer
Spells To Use: Finger of Death, Phantasmal Killer, Destruction


WARFORGED TITAN

Warforged Titan is the purple named boss, which means it is a raid boss. It attacks with ground shake that will make you lose balance and be knocked down. It has energy weapon that hit massive damage.

Weapons To Use: Pure Good, True Chaos,
Spells To Use: Fire Spell


WHEEP

Another member of the Undead family is the Wheep. They cast Weeping Dirge, which causes you to be shaken if you fail on a save (Will). Turn Undead does not work on them. They have the ability to be incorporeal as well.

Alignment: Lawful Evil

Weapons To Use: Pure Good, Disruptor
Spells To Use: Fire Spells, Disintegrate


WIGHT

Wights have the ability to drain your energy. They are known to do slam attack and create spawn. A higher level of Wight is the High Priest Wight, who aside from the slam and create spawn, it can cast various spells.

Weapons To Use: Holy, Pure Good, Anarchic, True Chaos, Disruptor
Spells To Use: Fire, Disintegrate


WILDMAN

Wildman are the monkey-like creatures that have the ability to cast spells, particularly the slow spell. They wield various weapons. They are mostly found in Restless Isles quest.

Alignment: Unknown
Creature Type: Humanoid
Weapons To Use: Vorpal, Paralyzer
Spells To Use: Finger of Death, Phantasmal Killer, Destruction


WOLF

Wolves, just like dogs and hounds, have the ability to bite, trip and knock you down. One type of Wolf is the Winter Wolf. It belongs in the Magical Beast family. It is vulnerable to fire spells.

WORG

Worgs are magical beasts that trip and bite just like the wolves.

WRAITH

Wraiths are undead who have the ability to cast incorporeal touch. They can drain your energy, resulting in constitution damage. They also create spawn for every dead adventurer they kill.

ZOMBIE

Zombies also belong to the Undead family. Zombies in DDO move faster than normal. They cast disease and do the slam attack. The Dread Zombie casts fifth fever, which causes dexterity and constitution damage.
