| Name | Creating a Human Fighter |
| Category | Class |
This is another create a character thread, which is part of the Skryer DDO Newbie Series. The first character we built was the 28-pt Dwarven Fighter. Let's face it, not everyone likes to see a fat dwarf as their first character. So, we will tweak the build a bit and create a Human Fighter. What's good about Humans is that they get extra feat at level 1. This is a good way to maximize the stats, feats, enhancements you have and be a tough fighter who can take in as well as dish out damage.

======
At Level 16, this Human Fighter will have the following stats with all the feats and enhancements:
Strength: 26
Dexterity: 14
Constitution: 14
Intelligence: 8
Wisdom: 8
Charism: 8
Hit Points: 298
Spell Points: 0
BAB: 16\16\21\26\26
Fortitude: 12
Reflex: 7
Will: 4
The strength is higher than that of the Dwarven Fighter but the rest of the ability scores are lower. But you have to remember that there are still no items and no tomes. So, you can still increase your abilities and other starts depending on the items you have. If you happen to get +6 Strength item and a +3 tome as you continue to play the game, you can have total of 35 Strength, which is quite high.
This build is good enough for you to start your adventure in DDO. When you are able to unlock your drow or unlock your 32 pt build, that's the time you can start to really enjoy the rewards you get in the game.
Additional notes: You may want to get items that increase your Armor Class (AC). At level 16, the Human Fighter can have a total of 45 AC if using a +5 Full plate, +5 Heavy Shield, Additional +4 to Dexterity, Protection +5, Ring of Balance +2, Dodge Feat +1, and Stone of Change Crafting +1.
